A. Minimum size excavator is 10T and we can fit these on to 40T Excavators.

Q. Why would I buy a bucket crusher when I can buy a normal track crusher?
A. A bucket crusher is a one man one machine operation. So you save fuel and the cost of another persons wages. E.g. you do not need a loader and loader operator to load a crusher. The bucket crusher is not a huge item and is easily transported unlike the larger track crusher.

Q. How will this save on dump fees?
A. If you crush you concrete onsite you can reuse as hard fill, which will save money on cartage to the dump and will save money on buying more aggregate to fill up to subgrade.

Q. What happens to the reo in the concrete?
A. After crushing, the reo steel will come out the back of the machine clean of concrete, then you can sell it as scrap metal. We have electro magnets that bolt on the back of these machines for easily picking up the steel.

Q. Do the jaws jam? What happens when the jaws jam?
A. The jaws will jam from time to time. If it occurs, turn the bucket upside down and the debris that has jammed the jaw will fall out. You don’t have to spend an hour climbing inside and clearing with a hammer like a normal tracks crusher.

Q. What size piece of concrete will fit in the crusher?
A. It depends what size machine you have. For example a BF60 will take a piece of concrete 600mm x 450mm. The 60 in BF60 tells you the mouth opening is 600mm wide, therefore a BF120 has a mouth opening of 1200mm and will take a piece of concrete 1200mm x 450mm.
